Zesty Poultry Dipping Sauce
You can use this delightful sauce as a "dipping sauce" served along side your chicken or turkey or even as a sauce dribbled over the top of the poultry ... either way, prepare for some delightful flavors!
1/2 cup chinese red rice vinegar
2 cloves garlic -- minced
1 whole green onion - sliced 'n diced
1 Tbs cilantro leaves - coarsely chopped
1 Tbs dark brown sugar
1 tsp fresh ground black pepper
1/2 tsp dried chile flakes
1/4 tsp salt
Combine the chile flakes, garlic, dark brown sugar, and salt in a mortar 'n pestle to a fine paste. Next add the black pepper and vinegar and stir thoroughly. Finally, add the green onions and cilantro on top.
