Texas Steak Marinade
No one makes steaks better than Texans, right? I would guess that will spar some interesting arguments! Regardless, here is a great recipe for a steak marinade which will suite every steak lover!
4 of your favorite steaks, the thicker the better
2 cups vegetable oil
1 cup soy sauce
1 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup pineapple juice
2 tablespoons granulated garlic
2 tablespoons freshly ground black pepper
2 tablespoons dry mustard
1 tablespoon ground dry basil
Mix all of your ingredients in a non-reactive mixing bowl and combine thoroughly. Place steaks in a zip lock bag and then add the marinade. Allow the steaks to marinate for 8-10 hours in the refrigerator, turning occasionally., and marinate steaks overnight or for 10 hours in refrigerator.
Fire up your grill and cook over medium-hot fire until done to your desired preference. Serve at once.
