Soy Grilled Salmon
Comments: For a little change of pace, this recipe will add the warm flavors of
2 -8 salmon steaks (4-6 oz. ea., or a couple large filets) or 2 -8 chicken breasts (4-6 oz. ea.)
1/2 cup olive oil
4 Tbs soy sauce
3 Tbs balsamic vinegar
1 Tbs brown sugar
1/2 onion, chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 1/2 tsp fresh ginger, grated
1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (more if you're brave or insane)
1 tsp sesame oil
1/2 tsp salt
In a large zip-lock bag, combine the olive oil, soy sauce, vinegar, onions, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, red pepper flakes, sesame oil and salt. Combine well and add the salmon. Seal and marinate in refrigerator 4-24 hours.
Preheat grill on medium-high heat. Grill fish for about 5 minutes per side,or until fish just flakes with a fork.
