Soppin' Moppin' Sauce
When you get down to it, the purpose of the outdoor cooking process is to prepare great tasting moist meals. One way to do this is to "mop" your meats to keep them moist and flavorful.
1 Cup apple cider or white wine
5 Tbs. Worcestershire sauce
2/3 Cup zesty Italian dressing
3 Tbs Butter
3 Ea coves, crushed
2 Tbs ginger, grated
2 Tbs dry mustard
1 Tbs ground cinnamon
1 tsp salt
1 tsp fresh groundpepper
1 ea lemon, thinly sliced
1. Heat the cider or wine in a stainless steel sauce pan. When warm add the remaining ingredients and allow to simmer 10 minutes. Remove and baste your meats on the grill. Keep warm so the butter will not harden again.
