Talk about getting "Sauced!", these wings have it all. This recipe can be used on any poultry where you are looking to spice things up a bit. Be sure to cook these over indirect heat. Placing them directly over the fire/heat will cause all of the sugars to burn and ruin the flavors!
Using a large bowl, combine all the ingredients and mix thoroughly. Once mixed, then place the wings in the bowl, cover, and marinate in the refrigerator several hours.
When ready to grill, go ahead and preheat the grill for low heat so that the entire pit is at cruising temperature.
Arrange chicken on the grill, and you can go ahead and discard the marinade since we will not be using it any longer. Grill your wings on both sides until juices run clear. You will need to finely tune the cooking time so as to cook the wings thoroughly but not burn the sauce.
Want some additional flavors? Add some wood chips or wood chunks to the fire to get that real smoky flavor!
