    Let's get started... 
    Collect the following ingredients:  
    
   
1 cup plum jam 
         
1 Tbs lemon   juice 
         
1 Tbs   seasoned rice vinegar 
         
2 tsp grated lemon peel 
         
1/2 tsp ground ginger 
         
1/2 tsp anise seeds,   crushed 
         
1/4   tsp dry mustard 
         
1/4 tsp ground black pepper 
         
1/8 tsp ground cloves   
    
In a small saucepan over medium heat, stir plum jam until melted. Then, stir   in the remaining ingredients. Bring mixture to a gentle boil and cook 1 minute,   stirring constantly. Allow to cool. Makes approx 1 1/4 cups.  
    
Great on chicken, duck or game hens.
