Oriental Chicken Wings

1 1/2 pound chicken wings
3 Tbs soy sauce
3 Tbs fresh lemon juice
1 Tbs ketchup
1 tsp honey
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/8 tsp black pepper
First take your soy sauce and mix it with the lemon juice and onion. Once thoroughly combined, marinate the chicken wings for 2 to 12 hours in the refrigerator. Drain the chicken and and save the marinade for later use.
Now, bring the leftover marinade to a low boil and allow to cool slightly. This low boil will kill any bacteria which might remain in the marinade otherwise. Now mix the honey, ketchup, pepper, and 1 1/2 tablespoons of the marinade. Grill the wings over a medium fire for about one half of the cooking time and then move to a cooler part of the grill with the lid closed in order to finish cooking. While the chicken is cooking over the direct heat, frequently turn the chicken and based. The wings will be done when there is no longer any pink in the meat next to the large bone or joint.
