Grilled Shrimp

Mix the following thoroughly:
1 pound fresh pealed and
de-veined shrimp - tails on
4 TBSP olive oil
3 TBSP lemon juice
3 TBSP of your favorite red wine
2 tsp brandied pepper (or fresh
cracked black pepper w/1 TBSP
brandy - optional)
1 tsp salt
1 tsp basil
1 garlic clove grated
1/2 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp cayenne
Blend all the ingredients thoroughly and marinate shrimp for 1 hour. While marinating, start the grill with ample charcoal to make a medium to hot fire. Allow the grate to become hot and brush the rack with wire brush to remove impurities.
Place shrimp on grate and don't let those precious jewels fall into the fire! Cook until firm and don't over cook. Goes great with pasta. Enjoy!
