Here are some facts about salmon:
Ocean-run salmon contain high levels of Omega-3 fatty acids, which play a protective role against heart disease.
- Chinook salmon are called "kings" because they are the most prized and the largest of the five species of Pacific salmon.

Locate the following ingredients:
4 salmon steaks about 8 oz. each
1/2 cup Jack Daniels, or other whiskey
1/3rd cup orange juice
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 Tbs. light olive oil
2 Tbs fresh ground pepper
2 cloves of garlic - minced
1 tsp salt
Always rinse and pat dry your fish. Mix all of the ingredients thoroughly in a glass or plastic bowl. Marinate several (2 to 8) hours in the refrigerator before cooking. Bring grill up to roasting temps of 350 degrees. Grill over direct heat being careful when turning it over. Try to use a wide steel spatula which will hole the entire filet. Have fun!
