Flavorful Grilled Tomatoes
Grilled tomatoes are absolutely heavenly. They can be presented directly on the plate as part of the meal or even used in salsa. In either case, there is nothing like using fresh roasted tomatoes. The smoky aroma and flavor is an excellent presentation.
In the beginning:
Tomatoes (halved) - enough for the meal
Italian salad dressing
Fresh ground pepper
Parsley - fresh
Cut tomatoes in half - stim to stern (top to bottom). Brush all surfaces with the dressing and sprinkle the top with all ingredients except the cheese. Place in indirect heat for about 10 to 15 minutes in a medium heat and cook until done. Just before taking off the grill, add the feta cheese and allow it to melt. Serve hot!
