Grilled Bacon Jalapeno Wraps
This is probably the simplest recipe we have on the site.....and maybe on of the most delicious! 3 ingredients for a full mouth of flavors. The heat from the grill mellows the fire of the jalapeno so it will not be nearly as hot as if you were to eat them raw. And the bacon and cream cheese just add to the flavors! You will make these often.
6 fresh jalapeno peppers, halved lengthwise and seeded
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
12 slices bacon
Using latex (doctor's type) gloves to keep your hands from burning, slice the jalapeños lengthwise. Leave the stem on so the cream cheese does not come out. Seed seed the jalapeños and spread cream cheese to fill jalapeno halves. Wrap with bacon and secure with a toothpick.
Preheat your outdoor grill for high heat.
Place your jalapeños on the grill, and cook until bacon is crispy. Watch for dripping grease flare-ups. Stay on top of these little jewels so the bacon does not burn.
