Barbecued Pork Steaks
Comments:
If you are seeking something just a little difference Barbecued Pork Steaks are a best bet. Bet you had never heard of them! Probably the reason [you've never heard of them] is because few folk ever barbecue pork steaks, they broil them.

Cut a pork loin into: 1" steaks, after trimming the extraneous fat and silverskin. Then mix
1 Tbls. salt
1 tsp. garlic
1 tsp. onion powder
1/2 tsp. ground thyme
1/2 tsp. ground bay
1/2 tsp ground mustard
1/2 tsp rubbed sage
Prepare the grill for broiling *500 degrees* and when it reaches proper temp. place the steaks on the grill. Turn when the steak releases from the meat grate - not before. Two turns should do it. Remove when the internal temp. reaches 140 degrees.
Serve on a warm plate.
Enjoy!
