FAQ Subject: Perils of Procrastination
I have a troublesome problem. I use my Weber Platinum series grill 1-2 times weekly. Every time I remove the cover and open the lid, I find a ball of insulation. Then I found my tenant!!! Any ideas on how I can permanently remove these mice. They nest over the burners. I've trapped a couple, decon'd a few but they keep on coming. Any advice would be appreciated. And no, I'm not asking for recipes!!! Thanks!
Hi Pauline,
Welcome.
"Build a better mouse trap..."
Well, Pauline, if you kept that thing fired up 5 times a week, the tenants would move out. Until then, plug all the air holes in the bottom with stainless steel wool. That will let air in, but keep the varmints out. And if you keep the grease removed, it won't smell as good to them. You are currently providing shelter and FOOD.
Have fun,
Smoky
