FAQ Subject: Mixing different types of meats on the grill
I'm smoking 5 Pork Butts for sandwiches this weekend. I'm going to have room left in my smoker and I'm tempted to throw 2 boneless turkey breast in . I've never mixed 2 different types of meat or poultry in the smoker at the same time. Is this advisable? Thank You, Max
Hi Max,
Been doing that most of my life. I usually throw some sausages on to have something to eat early to keep up my strength. Then I may have some chicken hind quarters come off next, then the spare ribs and finally the pork butts. May as well get the max. out of your time and heat.
Have fun,
Smoky
