FAQ Subject: Clean or not to clean the grill?
Hello,
I have heard both sides of this question, personally I do not believe that leaving dried on food is healthy or sanitary or even good for the grill.. What is your suggestion?
Gayle
Hi Gayle,
The proper solution to this problem is to eliminate. Food will not stick to the grill if 1. You let the grates get hot enough. 2. DON'T MESS WITH THE FOOD. It will seize the grates but will turn loose when it is ready.
Having said that, the last thing that I do after taking up the food is to scrape the grates with my spatula. But from a health and safety standpoint, the grill is purified by fire the next time it is fired up.
Relax, have fun,
Smoky
