Topic: What about the Grillery?
From: Greg Merrigan
Subject: The Grillery

Smoky,

I'm new to to non-gas type grills and am looking for one that I can use for broiling, using wood for the fuel. Have you had any experience with the Grillery? Kind of pricey, but looks nice.

Thanks,

Greg Merrigan

Hi Greg,

In my estimation there are two things wrong with the grillery. Foremost is a fatal design flaw which proposes to cook meat in the smoke of burning wood. The second you have already identified.

Check the Charbroil CB900 for about $200.00. PRoperly used it will do all. Bigger and better built is the Pitts & Spitts Combo at abour $500.

Read around on the website for several other good grills and check for the FAQs to find those you don't want to buy.

Luck,
Smoky
